As a trumpeter who is approaching his fifth year of playing, my ability this past freshmen year of high school would not have been the same without having taken lessons with Sam during the summer after eighth grade. While I wasn't the best I can be this year due to my not having the motivation to always practice consistently, I would be quite worse having not taken lessons with Sam.
